Elegance and rustic charm meet in the materials and fabrication of my artisan-style jewelry. I use quality components: sterling and fine silver, jewel's brass, copper, and genuine gemstones and cultured freshwater pearls. My processes include traditional metal-smithing: hand-forging, sawing, soldering, sanding, and polishing, hand-crafted patinas, stone setting, wire-wrapping, torch-firing, and kiln enamel. I bring a studio art degree to my design work - striving to make each piece of jewelry a little work of art.
West Virginia native Marjory Moses has spent her life working, raising a family, and making art in the hills of her home state. Photographer, print-maker, painter, and metalsmith, she has award-winning pieces in exhibits, collections, and shops in the Appalachian regions and beyond. Her artwork is always influenced by the woods and water, hills and skies, and her artisan jewelry always shows the hand of the maker.
