Item Description
This Copper Southwest Band ring is a great piece and a size 10. It is both beautiful and substantial.Wearing Artisan made jewelry is a treat and you will own unique and quality. Each cuff comes with a card talking about copper- the Magic Metal. Each cuff will vary slightly as it is impossible to ever get two exactly the same.
The proper way to put on and off a cuff, is to turn it to its side and remove from the wrist. This will save wear and tear on the metal. Once fitted to your wrist, it should not be necessary to continually bend the cuff to open and close.
All of my copper pieces, whether it is earrings, cuffs or pendants, start from a solid sheet of copper. I cut, sand, texture and patina (where called for) each piece. Each piece is created by hand and might vary slightly from the picture as they are all unique and one of a kind pieces. All cuffs will fit average size wrists- average being from 6 to 8 1/2"
The Magic Metals
~If folk lore is to believed there is healing properties to these metals. Copper is supposed to be a strong conductor of energy- makes sense since it is used in electrical wires doesn't it? and is an aid for exhaustion. It is also supposed to aid in detoxifying the body- which is why it can turn you green if it is not sealed- that is the copper's therapeutic properties drawing the toxins from your system through the skin where the copper is worn. I have been told by countless people who wear it that it does indeed relieve arthritis pain. Brass not only has the same beneficial benefits as copper but is also said to assist on healing of the skeletal structure and conducive for spiritual/mental healing, self discipline and strength. If a bracelet turns you green and you want to stop that, simply spray with hairspray and let dry, wipe with damp cloth when you wish to use it to detox. Enjoy. Christine
